The Highpoint Agricultural Facility is provided by Plano ISD, as an extension of the Agricultural Science program. The purpose of the facility is to provide an area for use by teachers and FFA members to raise and care for their projects. The facility provides students with opportunities they might not have otherwise, to raise an animal or participate in some other agricultural project. These projects are designed to give students an opportunity to gain a sense of responsibility, as well as leadership and showmanship skills. The care and maintenance of the facility is the responsibility of the FFA members, teachers, and the district.
